Pastor
Pastor Eric grew up in Northwest Indiana with his grandparents and mother Vickie. He has been married for nine years to his charming wife Kate and has two beautiful daughters Grace and Hannah. He attended Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida, where he received his B.A. in Ministry and M. Div. Eric is passionate about communicating the power of the Gospel of Jesus Christ to transform lives and culture, seeing that God delivered him from fifteen years of addiction.

Church Secretary
My husband Gene and I joined New Creation Family Church (formerly known as Pasadena Presbyterian Church) in 1998. I have served as Missions Chair, Fellowship Chair, Elder and Deacon.
I began working in the office as Church Secretary in 2015, using my administrative skills and experience to support our pastor and manage the church office, while utilizing my spiritual gifts to serve and minister to others.
Shirley McLeod,
Preschool Director
Shirley McLeod is the director of Sonrise Early Childhood Learning Center. She has been involved in early childhood education since 1991. She received her Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education. She received a teaching certificate through the state of Virginia in 1991. She taught Kindergarten, First and Second grade as well as serving as secretary for the Chesapeake Reading Association and writing elementary math curriculum for the city of Chesapeake. She taught PreK at St. Petersburg Christian Preschool.
She earned her director’s credential through the state of Florida and was the director of St. Petersburg Christian Preschool for 14 years before coming to Sonrise Early Childhood Learning Center. She has a passion for education and enjoys training others to teach higher level thinking skills in developmentally appropriate ways.
Family is very important to Shirley. Her husband Howard is the Media Specialist at Indian Rocks Christian School. They have been married since 1993 and have two children, Marena and Aiden and the guardianship of a third child. Her desire is to support families by helping to prepare children for future success in life academically, spiritually, emotionally and physically.
